Manuel Pietra

As President & CEO, Manuel leads global growth strategies to advance the company’s objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth. Manuel provides direct oversight to the FreeBalance corporate and regional operations teams to ensure customer-centricity, quality, service, and optimal use of resources. Manuel is responsible for ensuring that FreeBalance fulfils its mission to help governments across the world leverage robust government financial management technology to accelerate country growth.

Donald Gibbons, Chief Financial Officer


As Chief Financial Officer, Donald is responsible for the administrative, financial, legal and risk management operations of FreeBalance. Donald provides oversight and leadership to the accounting and finance teams for the planning, implementation, management, and monitoring of all corporate and regional financial activities.

Doug Hadden, Executive Vice President, Innovation

As Executive Vice President, Strategy & Innovation, Doug is responsible for identifying new global markets, new technologies and trends, and new and enhanced internal processes. Doug leads a cross-functional international team that is responsible for developing product prototypes and innovative go-to-market strategies.

Aldo Sagastume, Vice President, Products

As Vice President, Products, Aldo is responsible for new product development, quality assurance and ongoing product planning for the FreeBalance Accountability Suite. Aldo works with FreeBalance project and product managers to align product requirements with customer needs and public financial management reform objectives.

Suanne Dorion, Vice President, Knowledge Management

As Vice President, Knowledge Management, Suanne provides executive oversight in support of FreeBalance implementation projects worldwide. Suanne is responsible for the continued growth and development of the FreeBalance regional service delivery teams, including the implementation of good practices and internal capacity building programs.

Matthew Olivier, Vice President, Marketing

As Vice President, Marketing, Matthew is responsible for providing strategic marketing, communication, and business development direction for FreeBalance products, solutions and services. Matthew leads marketing and business development activities to support FreeBalance growth and brand awareness in the GRP market.

Gerard Rao, Vice President, Pre-Sales

As Vice President, Pre-Sales, Gerard works closely with the regional teams to en-sure execution and compliance with pre-sales processes, standards and procedures. Gerard provides leadership to the pre-sales team as it works to align FreeBalance solutions with customer and prospect requirements.

Pedro Raimundo, Vice President, Research & Development

As Vice President, Research & Development, Pedro provides leadership in support of the FreeBalance corporate and regional research and development teams.  Pedro is responsible for supporting the development team in the technical design, development, and maintenance of FreeBalance software solutions for the global market.

Kamran Khan, Vice President, International Business

As Vice President, International Business, Kamran plays a lead role in developing and nurturing strategic relationships with customers and prospects around the world. As a representative of the Office of the CEO, Kamran provides direct support to the regions to help achieve and sustain FreeBalance sales and growth objectives.

Carol Tracey, Director, Human Resources

As Director, Human Resources, Carol directs FreeBalance human resource management strategies to support worldwide growth. Carol designs and implements global talent management programs to attract, develop, and retain qualified talent that compliment the high performance culture of FreeBalance.

Catherine Sterling, Director, Finance / Chief Compliance Officer

As Director of Finance & Controller, Catherine provides leadership and coordination of FreeBalance accounting and tax functions including financial reporting, treasury/risk management and tax planning/compliance to meet the requirements of key internal and external stakeholders.
