Our 2015 predictions for enterprise software and Enterprise Resource Planning turned out to be mostly accurate. We see 2016 as more volatile as ERP attempts to cope with new competitors and demands for Social, Mobile, Analytics (and big data), Cloud and the Internet of Things – also known as SMACT.
What was once thought to be “modern” will be exposed as “legacy”. The value calculus for enterprise software will change in dramatic fashion.
