It has been fascinating to see the maturation of the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI). Transparency advocates met significant resistence in the donor community two and three years ago. It was unrealistic to expect quarterly reporting or XML data or geo-coded data. Much as changed as I described from an earlier post. The impact of IATI was described at the recent Open Government Partnership Summit in London.
