Gestion des finances publiques Gouvernance Évaluation

Standard international public finance assessments are available to help chart public financial management (PFM) reform roadmaps. These include:

  • Dépenses publiques et responsabilité financière (PEFA)
  • Debt Management Performance Assessment (DeMPA)
  • Methodology for Assessing Procurement Systems (MAPS)
  • Public Investment Management Assessment (PIMA)
  • Tax Administration Diagnostic Assessment Tool (TADAT).

But these tools don’t always give the level of prescriptive information needed to support effective PFM reform. This leaves us asking: What if governments could leverage more prescriptive tools using country-specific information beyond assessments?

Find out how FreeBalance’s Governance Advisory Service fills this important gap in this Minister Brief.
