Public officials involved in finance management across the Federated States of Micronesia gathered at the end of June for the Government’s annual finance conference.
FreeBalance Project Manager Rajesh Bhandari joined the conference to support a presentation on the forthcoming transformation of the Government’s PFM approach, and the implementation of a new cloud-based financial management information system (FMIS).
Opening the conference, T.H. Vice President Palik remarked: “the Simina-Palik administration is committed to reforming and strengthening public finance. We are focused on strengthening our institutions and processes at the national level that align budgets with policy priorities, delivering quality public services efficiently and affordably."
