We’ve been exploring the impact of happiness and wellbeing in government policy. It’s also been a week of exploration that started with the FreeBalance International Steering Committee last Monday, and ending with the World Happiness Summit that concluded yesterday. Today is the International Day of Happiness, coinciding with the release of the 2017 World Happiness Report. We’ll be sharing our analysis over the coming week by curating our tweets. We often encounter skepticism about the notion of happiness as prioritization of public policy. One of those criticisms is that happiness and wellbeing are not “scientific” concepts.
