Since 2005, the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) in Antigua and Barbuda has leveraged the FreeBalance Accountability Suite™ to enable modern comptrollership and good governance throughout the public sector.

We are proudly Canadian and have partnered with departments and agencies across the Government of Canada since 1986. Today, we support a cluster of federal organizations, enabling standardized yet flexible financial, procurement, revenue, and human capital management within a shared governance framework.

In November 2023, the FreeBalance Platform was selected by the Government of Costa Rica to drive a comprehensive program of digital transformation in the Ministry of Finance.

In 2024, the FSM Government selected FreeBalance to implement a new Financial Management Information System (FMIS) to serve both the national government and the four state governments of Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Yap.

FreeBalance has been working with the Government of Guyana to increase transparency, provide better and more timely information and facilitate the linkage of resources to results and poverty reduction program goals.

The Government of Kiribati selected FreeBalance to support effective public financial management (PFM) in 2022. Since then, the FreeBalance Accountability Suite™ has enhanced transparency and accountability, and helped build a resilient and prosperous future for the islands.

All budget organizations and all major revenue agencies are connected the Kosovo Financial Management Information System (KFMIS) to record all transactions - a “one-stop shop” for fiscal information in three languages – English, Albanian and Serbian.

Since 2010, the Government of Liberia has successfully leveraged the FreeBalance Accountability Suite™ to enable modern comptrollership and governance throughout the public sector.

Transparency helps improve governance, particularly for high-growth resource-rich countries like Mongolia and the country has seen “dramatic improvements” in budget transparency as noted by the International Budget Partnership Open Budget Index (OBI).

FreeBalance’s implementation of the integrated Budget and Treasury Management System (BTMS) was an important step forward for the Philippines. It has helped strengthen the public sector, improve governance and development outcomes.

The Government of Sierra Leone uses the FreeBalance Accountability Suite™ as the backbone of its Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) - a critical component of its PFM reform program and poverty reduction goals.

The Integrated Treasury Management Information System (ITMIS) in Sri Lanka is part of a major reform initiative towards improved fiscal management in Sri Lanka through the Fiscal Management Efficiency Project.
